The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
